oh wow. so this is the first thread i've seen about Newman so i went back and read all the updates on him. I'm happy your going along with the amputation as long as the chest rads and U/S are clear. May i ask who the oncologists are that your vet spoke with and who is going to do the amputation?

I've assisted with numerous amputations because of mast cell tumors and all patients have done wonderfully. Granted Newman's tumor is in an odd place ( i can't recall seeing one on the pad either), i do think he will do great. I'll be praying that the rads and U/S come back OK and the surgery is a success!
