Hi again everyone. Thanks so much. ILuveLucy (Kim) we are hoping to have his surgery done a day this week. All we are really waiting on are the results of the aspiration of the lymph node and blood work results to come back and we have to have a chest x ray and ultra sound done. The doctor feels that we will have this all completed and Newman's surgery done this week. He said that he likes to do things right away because the longer you think about it - you start second guessing. He says it's easier on us to just do it and not think about it. He did say that Newman will be documented in the books and a paper written on him, since it's the first time it's been seen. They want to keep track of what was done and the results in hopes of helping other dogs that may have this at some point. Elaine |
