Nutrical has a very high sugar content and should not be used on a regular basis, only when necessary. For example, if your dog is having a hypoglycemic episode or if your puppy has not been eating well, and you can't get him to eat anything, so you give him a little nutrical to prevent a hypoglycemic episode.
Missing link, on the other hand, is a supplement that is good for their health and is high in essential fatty acids, therefore causing the dog to have a very healthy looking coat. It's not specifically for their coats, it's for overall health.
