Right. Your dogs are perfectly capable of ripping each other to shreds if they so choose. They have sharp teeth and powerful jaws. If they aren't drawing blood (or biting hard enough to for the other yelp or act injured), they aren't brutally fighting.
If however, their fighting is serious enough that you're afraid it might escalate, by all means separate them!
