I think an important factor to consider when analyzing people's responses to these types of threads is that we all know how much we can come to love our "imperfect" yorkies. When responding to these threads, I think a lot of us want to let the poster know how easy it is to overcome the minor problems of size, coat, color, etc.

I don't think anyone is telling people to keep the yorkies they absolutely don't want or can't keep, they're just trying to let them know how easy it is to fall in love with them despite their flaws.
