HEY. that is not fair not all groomers are AWLFUL.. I will work with a puppy
I help the new owner understand. That it is not smart to do everything at once to a puppy, or any dog that is scared.
it may take a couble of trips. or hours for the puppy can calm or I can love on it in between combing, cutting, bathing. etc..
But for you at home
Pet Edge has a cute little dog grooming table you set on your counter.

Bathing..get in the tub too
combing..comb while she resting, riding in a car any time she is relaxing with you. with in weeks you will see a diffenence
around the face..use a tooth brush or your fingers
Feet..play with their feet that way they will get used to there feet getting touch
legs.. play with them too.
touch touch touch they will feel safe (well most dogs anyway)
But the most important Give it time
