i say if you dog can jump on the bed you dont have to worry about it jumping off. no need for a ramp, jumping for doggys is a great work out. My Rocky is a absolute Phsyco, he has jumped down from at least 6 ft once, sprained his ankle a little but was jumping around in a matter of min
