I have never heard good things about using a heating lamp. I have always been told that it gets mom and the babies too hot. You will be able to tell if mom is too hot cause she will pant ( like a on a very hot day outside) and not want to stay in the box.

What do you have set up for mom to have the babies in?

I heard a very scaryand sad story about heat lamps.. There was a breeder who used one and it burned the babies.. They all died.. I like Pats idea with the pad under the box..
I'm not sure we in Maine have to worry a whole lot about babies in the summer.. Most of us do not use air conditioners... It never gets that hot and on the freak chance it does.. it never lasts to long..
