While he should be neutered at the appropriate age because it is more healthy and he is your pet, it is ridiculous to blame the breeder. This is not a life threatening defect, in fact it is extremely common and I believe you and your vet are jumping the gun. This small of a breed can take up to a year for the testicles to descend into the scrotum. I can also tell you that most veterinarians know nothing about breeding. You should trust your breeder! I myself used to breed Corgi's so I know about both sides. You should also be ashamed of yourself for calling someone a puppymill with NO FACTS, to back it up. That can land you in a lawsuit. |
Your boy is beautiful.
I really hate when a vet over reacts to something as common as this. And causing so much stress for the new owner. Neutering will usually cost a little more but normally thats all and its not that much more. Relax and Enjoy your dog. I would be questioning your vets reaction as to suggesting you return your beautiful pup. I would actually be upset with him for scaring you so badly!
