I was under the impression that when I told Susanah to "come" it means that I wanted her to walk/run to me. It meant I wanted her to go from wherever she was to where I was.
For a little while that's the way it worked. Not lately though.
These days "come" means run like holy terrorized bat out of hell everywhere EXCEPT to me.
Then when I finally get she has the nerve to look for her treat. I told her she doesn't get a treat because she didn't do what she was supposed to do. Then she looks at me like, "You're kidding me, right? Seriously, Mom, where's my treat? Lady don't make me go all rottweiler on you! I want my treat!"
