There are so many people that just don't understand the concept of a dog being like a child. So many people don't understand at all how much Lacy means to me and how much I love her. To me she is and will always be my child and I would do ANYTHING for her and anything to keep her. Sometimes it is so annoying having to try to explain to someone that she isn't "just a dog."
