 New Litter-1 Baby seems conjested still
My Savannah just delivered her litter of 4 babies on Friday evening from 10:40 to 11:40 pm. We had 4 beautiful babies. 2 males and 2 females. My question is: One of the females seems to still be conjested, I could hear one of them when they were nursing and I realized it was her. I picked her up and tried to clear her nose alittle more but she is so wiggly and just wanted back with mom. She is nursing vigorously and it doesn't seem to be bothering her, just me. Has anyone ever had this happen? She sounds like a little kid with a snotty nose that won't clear it and keeps breathing out of it. I don't want her to end up with pneumonia because she still has fluid in her lungs or something!! I appreciate any suggestions or comments. |
