I didn't hear anyone saying a tragedy would happen but you have to admit - very VERY young kids are not good with small dogs -
at 9 months - a baby is way to young to even know a dog is around - but wait a year when they're toddling around yanking the dog by the ears - or they trip and land on the dog - it's just normal behavior for young kids - they really don't know any better at that age. People shouldn't 'buy' a yorkie for a child when there's so many sturdier dogs out there - Even cocker spaniels are better suited for kids and they aren't big at all -
Josean143 - the replies on this thread aren't negative - just honest. I think most people here are putting the dog first and you'll probably do whatever you want to do - but the advise is out there for you to take
