My house was broken into in 2005 by the neighborhood delinquent, while I was at work. He lives next door to my across the street neighbor, so could watch my house. I have an alarm system but that didn't stop him. He took some cash I had on a dresser. Emmy was in her crate, and he didn't bother her. It was hard for her to have to stay in the crate while the police collected evidence. It's a shame to not feel safe in your own home. He gets out of jail in a couple of weeks. |
