I cut out the toes in some of my running socks (any athletic socks will do...they're thicker than most so the cream won't seep thru onto your sheets)...Target has some great ones that I usually buy for this purpose. They come 3 to a pack I think.
I just tried the Gold Bond Healing Cream which somebody here suggested (I can see your avatar, but can't think of your name, sorry!)...it's under the "drug store must haves" thread. I like it....also, I got a new metal file type of thingy made by Sally Hansen to get the dry skin off of my heels....it works better than almost anything else I've found (other than a $60 pedicure!).
