You're definately NOT ALONE!!! My Tobi only "comes" to me when I have a treat in my hand or he thinks I have a treat in my hand. I know we have to work on that with him..but he's around your fur babys age too (5 months). When I talked to our trainer about this dilemma, she said that we have to practice with them when they are on a leash somewhere with distractions (like at a park). The trainer also said try using a longer leash (maybe tie two together) and use that as practice so that they'll become more voice controlled. I hope this helps!
