Thanks y'all. It's nice to know that some of his behavior might be normal. I've been thinking about some of the things y'all mentioned. I think his digging might be related to him being tired at times. He was getting to bed later and later. We're now going to give him a bed time like the rest of our kids.
I'm also beginning to wonder if his teething could be contributing to things. He seems happy as a clam when on my lap chewing on his hoof. He looses all tendencies to nip in the areas we thought might be hurting him. He doesn't spin or whine either.
I never imagined bringing him home would be so worriesome. LoL
