Confused YorkieDr.

Vicki, I have read all of the replys you are getting about your little Jasper. As I am sorry to hear about this medical problem I am a vet myself and can tell you that your vet is definitely OVER REACTING. This is VERY common in small breed puppies and your little guy is small. While he should be neutered at the appropriate age because it is more healthy and he is your pet, it is ridiculous to blame the breeder. This is not a life threatening defect, in fact it is extremely common and I believe you and your vet are jumping the gun. This small of a breed can take up to a year for the testicles to descend into the scrotum. I can also tell you that most veterinarians know nothing about breeding. You should trust your breeder! I myself used to breed Corgi's so I know about both sides. You should also be ashamed of yourself for calling someone a puppymill with NO FACTS, to back it up. That can land you in a lawsuit.
