I don't blame you for tossing toys out....Lead is a very potent poison, so it's best to be safe than sorry...
I've posted this before on her but in case you missed it Good Morning America ran a segment on lead in garden hoses...they leach HUGE amounts of lead in the water even if you let it run for a minute....if the hose is not marked "safe for drinking" , don't ever fill your dogs outside bowl from it or let your kids drink from it...just an fyi...
