My Butch is 11 lbs and we love him just like he is. He isnt fat, just healthy and sturdy. We also have a yellow lab and Butch can pretty well keep up with him. He was one of the smaller puppies in the litter, but now is the largest. I love him just the size he is and cannot imagine having a delicate baby
