Hi everyone - mini update and a bit of a plea for advice!

We have consulted a really good trainer and behaviour specialist and she has implemented big, big changes into my little boys lives.

First on the advice of she and my vet they have both been neutered, just a few days ago. We decided to do both together as there was no clear higher ranking dog and she felt this was part of the bigger problem. So they are currently a bit sore and wearing those bustier collars to prevent them from licking their wounds.

They also have crates, a 'no jumping on the sofa' rule, new food and overall a much stricter lifestyle.

My question - are they going to hate me for this?

They are used to snuggling with me on the sofa but it has given them the reign to roam and own the house, plus from the sofa they get a better view to bark at strangers passing our house. Then of course there's the danger of damage to their little bones from all the jumping. They just keep trying to climb up and I feel so awful turning them away.

I know in the long run these changes will be for the best but I don't want my boys to hate me or feel that they are not loved.
