1/2 tsp Pepto oughta do it! Used to give this amount to my 5 lb. chihuahua-she had acid reflux sometimes, and needed it.
If Layla has diarrhea, DO NOT give Pepto Bismol. Diarrhea is the body's way of getting rid of the toxins, and you should let it take it's course for a few bouts to get the bad stuff out.
As always when they're not feeling well, make sure she's getting enough fluid. Push water, give ice cubes, fill a kong with broth and freeze it-anything to keep water moving through her body. |
