It sounds like she's confused, since she goes in the pen everyday. What I would do is, instead of putting her in the pen first thing in the morning, I would take her outside on her leash for a little walk (if you can). Take treats with you. I think there's more of a chance of her going after sleeping all night. When she goes, give her TONS of praise and treats. Maybe that will help her get the idea that she can go outside, even if she's not in the pen.
Does she go on pee pads in the pen? If so, maybe even try putting a pad on the ground until she gets the idea. Good luck! |
