i was told that coca-cola and pepsi both sell their bottled water (aquafina and desani) are both basically the water they use when making the soft drinks...only with nothing added. so yes, basically tap water. amazing how they can take their "pre-soft drink" water and sell it for 2 times as much as they actually sell the "soft drink".
but, i guess this publicity will probably hurt them. i think they deserve it. i usually only drink spring water if i buy it...but more often than not, i just get filtered water from my fridge and bottle it...it's cheaper
