So glad to hear Ginger is home! If your surgeon said 30 days of confinement, that's not bad. Mine were 8 weeks of confinement but they also had the tibial head cut and pinned.
As far as the razor burn we used an aloe gel. Just make sure it's NOWHERE near the incision.
