Default neutering

Most Humane societies have spay/neuter programs. Many give a reduced fee no matter the income level. Costs depend on the area...in some parts of the US it only cost $35, others places are $650. I would find a vet who does the surgery in one procedure. At his age the testicule is no doubt a lost cause..sorry. Make sure he pulls any left over puppy teeth. His weight sounds right..double the 12 wk size. Neutering might add a pound or so, unless he exercises well..some get obese, others remain trim, just like humans. Best wishes
