Cry Sorry for your loss

The vet said he would have to remain on Prednisone (steroids) for the rest of his life, but that alone would cause his health to deteriorate over time. I hope you find some help. This is a huge reason why I'm afraid to get another dog, although we are currently planning to get a Yorkie in a few months. But now I'm thinking twice about it....
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost a poodle a little over a year ago, she was 18 blind and deaf.
How old was your dog and please tell me how your vet tried to help your dog.
I believe it is due to poor breeding too. We are in our middle 70's and she was a Christmas gift from my daughter. We really didn't want another dog, but there she was and now we have all these problems along with a sick husband.
