Ok, so I finally have these in stock and I too was a bit skeptical. Does it really work? Yup, for sure it does. I give it I soaked them in water for about 2 minutes, the little beads soaked up water, puffed up the top and lo and behold, it felt really cool to the touch. We strapped it on Zoe (velcro harness type) and it kept cold for over 2 days!! It supposed to go longer but I didn't soak it too long. I truly think these items are great and will keep dogs cool. Zoe has been wearing it every day (indoors) since she got hers. It's supposed to maintain a body heat of about 65 degrees and so far, it is great. I can't wait to take her outdoors to the beach, park, etc. Think of it functioning similarly to a cold pack but not unconfortable cold and reusable.

They were completely out of stock on mats so I will be ordering these mats and colors in the next week or two with brand new fabric colors.
