I oil the hips and braid the hair or pony tail it also..the rubber band is close tothe skin and leaves no gap for the puppy heads..
Only use a very light oil spray or dressing..too much will make her cold.

Okay I love this idea!! Ellie's hair is down to the floor and I hate the thought of cutting it.. What kind of oil do you use?
