I have a very low bed so I just used a small cardboard box covered in a towel for traction, but if it's a higher bed you can either make stairs or even buy a small set of stairs for that purpose. It's also easier on their joints if they're not jumping down from high surfaces. |
Its not much of a bed really. Just a closed off area. She lays down on a pillow. So yea, we have to pick her up and sit her down. I would give her stairs to get in and out, but there have been a few nights where she hasn't been ready to go to bed and she'll whimper and cry until either I finally fall asleep or she realizes its bed time. (Not sure which happens first, but I'm going to go with me falling asleep first, :-P)
