Do you have a 401K? You could do a hardship withdraw or maybe you could borrow the money to pay the elec bill. I'm surprised the elec company is not working with you more on this, $300 is a lot.
Have you tried any women's shelters? They don't just provide shelter, they also help women out who need help paying their bills or finding a job. They help out a lot of women going through divorces. If they can't help you, they will assist you in finding someone who can. I really don't want you to get rid of your baby just to pay bills. You are in my prayers.
