I just left my house to go pick up lunch for me and my son. My garage door didn't close right away, so I had to stop and try again. As I was watching the door close, something caught my eye. At first, I thought it was a parrot--you know, those large ones that people keep as pets. The kind that don't sit in a cage, but sit on a perch in someone's living room. When I looked again, I saw it was NOT a parrot...
It was a HAWK!
Perched on my gate! The dogs were inside, but I called my son and told him not to take the dogs out for potty or anything.
It was actually a smallish hawk; I don't think it could have picked up these dogs, but still...
