This is awful. Thank goodness Izzie is OK and you're safe. I can't imagine how frightened you both must be! If you have to stay until your lease is up, consider getting some of the snap on metal locks that go on the edges of your windows. They keep them from being able to be raised any higher than you open them. I did this when I was living in Atlanta because I enjoyed the fresh air, but didn't want anyone to be able to climb through. They're available at Lowes and Home Depot and I would imagine, at other hardware stores. Stay safe!!
