When we brought Bo home (he was probably too young as I have learned on this forum, but wasn't purchased from a breeder and the people were tired of the puppies) at 6 weeks he weighed 2.4 pounds. I was SCARED TO DEATH that we would step on him or close the door on him. He's still little but has gained and is now 4.6 pounds at 13 weeks so he will probably be around 8 pounds. That is fine with me. When he was so tiny I felt like all I did was police everyone to watch out for him. We still have to but I think he feels so much sturdier now. |
