Have you tried clicker training? Here is a link that will give you more info. Find clicker training in your area and even though it costs more it's worth it. I took Izzy for Clicker Training I for 6 weeks and now going end of month for Clicker Traiing II for puppies. I swear by it.
And it's so much fun to work with your furbaby and they love it too. Izzy sees me getting her clicker and treat bag out and she gets very happy and excited.
