I would think it IS safe - but they have great customer service and you could call and ask them - I can't wait to hear how you like it !! You only need to spray lightly - It's not a detangler but a finishing spray -
one word of caution - don't spray on or around tile or hardwood floors unless you want to skate thru the air and land on your butt -
it makes it VERY slippery ...you won't even know how slippery it is till your in the air !
