I live in NJ and my vet who is more on the expensive side charged me about $200 without extractions. Just cleaning. Now, when Newman broke his tooth on a chew bone, it was around $300 ish with the work to the tooth. And, then I'll confuse you a little more with another price; We had Newman's teeth cleaned when he was under for a tumor removal and the cost was only $65 because he was already under for another procedure.
I usually start the teeth cleaning around two years old and I have it done after that every one to two years. Newman seems to only get a year then has to be done again, where my Bella is three years old and she's just getting it done next month for the first time. It all depends on the dog and I think the older they are requires more frequent cleaning. At least that's what I"m finding.
