it's diarrhea. We can go along fine for a while & then suddenly have runny/mucousy poop for a couple of days & then it goes to blood. But now I know that when it becomes runny/mucousy, I call the vet & get medication before we get to the blood stage. I feed her Prescription W/D. It's high fiber & works for her...unless she gets something odd...like a strawberry.
I was right...we've woken up to an upset tummy this morning.
