Welcome James and Dollar. You have come to the right site to raise you new little one. o start, I hope you are crate training him. Does he have his own little bed where is can go to feel safe? I have 3 adults and they each have their own crate that they sleep in on their own now. It is never used as punishment, but a place to rest when they need it. I "free feed" which means I always have dry food and water down for my babies. None of mine are overweight, but I think this wold just be a personal choice. Water should always be available. Confine your puppy right now so you know where he is at all times (safty) and for potty training. Our male is 3 and I still need to watch him when he is in the house. Hope you have had him vet checked! Give him a hug from all of us.
