Hi -- I don't have a Shanghai connection, but may I offer a couple of things to think about? I hope I'm understanding you correctly -- you want to ship from the US to China, right? First, you may want to check out what the import laws are concerning pets shipped from the US to China -- I know that in some countries you must quarantine a pet for up to six months before letting it come home. Also -- as I'm sure you know, Yorkies are very tiny and sometime fragile dogs, so shipping a dog on such a long trip will probably be very stressful and frightening to a young dog -- not to mention a potential risk to the dog's health. It's so sweet that you want to surprise your girlfriend with a little one -- but I suggest you do some research to avoid tragedy. Good luck!
