So we're going today or tomorrow for his first grooming. We're going to Petco, only because my boyfriend's friend works there and I trust her to take care of my baby. She even requested that I stay with him to keep him calm, and so that she can get approval for every snip!
I want to cut the hair on his body pretty short, but leave the hair on his head and face longer. The hair on his face is so nice and thick and silky, I couldn't cut it...plus, I love putting his hair up in a ponytail! 
Does anyone have pictures of this style? Not so much for the groomer, but more for me to figure out what I want. I'm guessing it would be like a puppycut, but with a topknot, right? |

About the haircut, my senior Spanky had and adorable puppy cut on Monday. I actually had them cut bangs on her instead of the topknot. She looks super cute; the coat is about 1.5 inches all the way around her body, with fluffy legs - she looks like a little girl again.
I might just cut bangs on Mango as well, the little rascal will not keep her topknot in for more than a few hours at a time.
