To put a picture under your screen name, yes, as scrapindee says, go to user cp and click on "edit avatar" on the left. The tricky part is getting a picture small enough. As a new member, you're allowed a 75x75 pixel avatar or smaller. So crop one that size, and you should be able to load it up.
Welcome to YT. You can't post too many pictures of that cutey.
