I had my Sophie spayed at 2 1/2 years old, after one litter, and I had Isis her puppy spayed at 1 year. Both did great. I'm glad I waited, I was so worried the pups wouldn't be strong enough to be put under..... it was also a good time to get their baby teeth taken out....
