Muffin was that way a bit. She'd come to you and want attention and loved to be hugged on, but then when you'd hugged her for awhile she'd want back down so she could go do her own thing. She was a busy little dog and loved to spend her days running around looking out the windows and doors. Who wants to be in a lap? Might miss out on something!
She did like to take naps with ya though and wanted you to sit on the floor and play with her and brush her. But when she wanted to sleep during the day, she wanted to get in her daytime bed. She slept in our bed at night.
