For Fleas - look in the groin area 1st....- and on the head above their eyes - if a dog has fleas but you don't actually see one - you'll see 'dirt' which is a sure sign of flea infestation - excessive scratching - and sudden itch 'attacks' signal fleas - I always turn my girls on their backs and look at their tummies & groin area
lucky for us - no fleas ever - but Chanel DID have them from her breeder - I found them after her first bath seeing the 'dirt' on her little tiny head....and yes - it was from fleas.
Ticks are nasty creatures just like Fleas - Frontline Plus is the best treatment for both these leeching scaveging insects
