Since you are a vet tech, what tests have you done on your little girl? Have you had her evaluated by a judge, exhibitor/breeder or handler to see if she is of breeding quality? Any reputable breeder will want to know these things. Also, you would need to do a lot of research on the stud before you even think of breeding. Same things apply, all the tests done, bloodlines, quality...
and remember, the size of the stud doesn't really mean that much. You must look at the grandparents, great grandparents.. My advice would be go to some shows and speak with the breeder/exhibitors there in your area and get their advice. One last thing, there are no toy Yorkies, just Yorkies.. Please don't take what I'm saying as harsh, I'm just another one of those passionate Yorkie lovers that believe in only breeding when it's done to improve the breed.
