i also agree with the above poster that you should find him a new home...someone that will love him regardless of size. if i had the money to give you that you paid for him, i would take him in a heartbeat. but i don't. i do hope you find him a great home...OR i hope that you can fall in love with him regardless of size, coloring, or anything else that may not go as planned. |
Well, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding then. Some people have been very quick to judge me and attack me just because I expected to get what I wanted, so I'm a bit sore I guess.
I did buy the puppy and picked him out of two boys (not the litter), but that's only because he was the smallest one and since I haven't seen a lot of 9 week old Yorkies, he looked so tiny to me. The breeder also told me that he was less than a pound. The next day when I had him weighed, he was almost 2 lbs (1.8). The guy told me he would be 3 lbs at the most. So I was completely duped. I never would have gotten him, had I known that he was almost 2 lbs. I'm sorry if that sounds shallow to some people, but if I didn't care about size, then I would have just gotten a different breed. Like a poodle or something and I certainly wouldn't have spent so much money.
Is it so wrong to know what you want and expect to get it? Maybe I'm not as passionate about this puppy as some of the people on here are about their dogs, but I've only had him for a week and he isn't what I thought I was getting.
