Punkie - I think you should give him back because you'll never be happy with him if he's "too big" and so it's best for him to find someone to love him for what he is - no matter what. Worrying about a pound or two sounds pretty shallow to me.

LOL... OK then. I was kind of looking for advice and support and some people on here were very kind and sweet, which I'm grateful for. But you are just rude and very quick to judge I guess. I think that if you don't have anything nice to say, then maybe you should go with your first instinct to keep your mouth shut.
