Obviously she doesn't love him or she wouldn't be talking about giving him back based on the fact that he'll probably be bigger than 3 or 4 pounds.
Punkie - I think you should give him back because you'll never be happy with him if he's "too big" and so it's best for him to find someone to love him for what he is - no matter what. Worrying about a pound or two sounds pretty shallow to me.
I'm sorry if someone is upset with this but I couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer. So, lambaste me if you want, but that's my opinion.
