Here we go again! Tropical Storms & Hurricanes heading for Gulf Coast Well . . . today and tonight, we're in the midst of a tropical storm -- this one's name is Cindy. Just some wind and rain but still the possibility that it may reach minimal hurricane strength (74 mph) before the eye hits our coast.
I'm in northern Lafourche Parish - right above Terrebonne Parish and the Barataria and Atchafalaya Basins.
It appears that Debbie - the new storm not quite in the Gulf has its eyes on our coastline too.
My stepson's wedding is on July 15th and my daughters, grandbabies and Cooper are supposed to be flying in on the 13th for the wedding.
Rain, rain go away!!
Is Louisiana going to be to hurricanes this year what Florida was last year?
Hope everyone nearby survives these two! I know there are quite a few of us along the coastline between here, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida panhandle.
